Soil Assessments
Assessing of land by means of soil surveys to determine the soil properties. This information is used in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Wetland Delineation and soil potential determination.
Soil assessment services:
- Soil classification,
- Lime and fertilizer recommendations,
- Interpretation of soil data / information,
- Report writing.
Soil Assessments is done by means of doing soil surveys. With a soil survey the soil is classified and the soil physical properties is recorded. Soil samples can also be collected for soil chemical analysis. All these data can be used to create soil maps of the different soil properties. Interpretation of the soil data is accompanied by a report for whatever the need of the soil assessment.
